Lunch at The Breakers

After touring Whitehall, we met up with Suzanne (who had flown from Philadelphia to West Palm Beach in the morning) and decided to tour The Breakers, the ultra-luxurious hotel in Palm Beach.  While there, we elected to skip our normal lunch of sandwiches and Mexican coke for a more refined repast at the Seafood Bar, whose bar literally is an aquarium. The Breakers, in its current iteration, was built in 1925 and was designed by the highly acclaimed architectural firm of Schultz and Weaver and modeled after the Villa Medici in Rome. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and visit to The Breakers.
